In 2011 Victoria Anne Photography had 11 weddings. During the summer if I had a weekend without a wedding you would usually find me assisting my great friend Andrea, of A Marie Photography. I love working with other photographers and see how they set up shots and deal with the ups and downs of the day. I also love working with Andrea because we shoot very similar and just get each other. Plus it’s always fun working with a friend!

As a second shooter you need to be there to support the head photographer to make the day go smoother for not only them, but also the couple. If it’s running to find someones shoes, grabbing umbrellas, plugging in batteries, or capturing a moment on the sidelines, you have to be ready for anything. You also get to hang out and photograph the men getting ready which is always laid back and can get pretty interesting. I sure had a lot of laughs.

So enough chit chat, here are some of my favorite moments and photographs I shot while assisting A Marie Photography. It was a pleasure working for you Andrea and I look forward to working together in the future.
